As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the world has recently been turned upside down. Like many of you, we wondered what we could do to help. During a TryCrypto team meeting we discussed the idea of hosting a virtual summit since everyone is currently working from home and since in-person events were getting cancelled. We decided to move forward and since then we’ve been overwhelmed by the encouragement, support, and reception the event has received.
In this post we are highlighting some of the leaders, speakers, and key figures behind this event and let them share with you why they are jumping in to make a difference.

TryCrypto makes building dapps easy and efficient. TryCrypto is founded by Nik Kalyani and Chase Chapman. Nik was motivated to get involved by what he was experiencing and Chase saw an opportunity to make a difference.

It is incumbent upon people in technology to use our experience and skills to make the world safer and more bearable for our fellow humans who are suffering. We should also look beyond the pandemic and use technology as a force for hope and optimism in the future. Those who rise to this challenge today will be the leaders in a vastly different world full of opportunity tomorrow. Rise!

We’re excited to welcome Erin Shaben, a Blockchain Tools Engineer at Truffle. Erin will show us how developers can leverage Truffle to build decentralized applications.
